Hungry Hill Pointing Labs is a small hobby breeding program located in north-central North Dakota. Dogs have always been a passion of ours, and when we moved to my husband’s family farm, it gave us the space and opportunity to turn that dream into reality.
With 8 years of breeding experience, we focus on quality over quantity, producing purpose bred pointing line Labradors. We were searching for a reliable upland hunting dog, and Labradors were an obvious choice. Their loyalty, loving nature, and undeniable hard work in the field make them one-of-a-kind companions.
Our dogs are a huge part of our family and are raised in our home with daily interaction, care, and great love and attention.
We intentionally keep our pricing reasonable by not including formal training. This gives buyers the flexibility to train in their own way while focusing their investment on quality breeding and genetics, not added costs they may not need. Thus, allowing owners to naturally bond and build skills alongside their dog.
A $200 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve a puppy and is applied to the final purchase price. Deposits may be transferred to the next available litter if timing changes, with pricing guaranteed for up to one year.
Puppy selection occurs in the order deposits are received, typically when puppies are 6–7 weeks old. Puppies go home at 8 weeks, with pickup expected within one week. Extended stays available for $20 per day.
Our ultimate goal is to simply to produce puppies that are healthy, happy, and capable of prevailing both as hunting dogs and family companions at a reasonable price.
